SEPTEMBER 9TH (9/9) ARRIVE IN CANADA🇨🇦
I arrived Kamloops in Canada. it was a long flight about 8 hours. I was sitting by the window seat. So, the view from the plane was very beautiful, but it was hard for me to go to washroom though. While flying above the clouds, I felt like excited and nervous. however I thought that everyone feels the asme as me!!! The most exciting point was “in-flight meal.” There were two times, taste was not too bad but not too good as well. I enjoyed these experiences. My adventure in Kamloops has begun>
SEPTEMBER 12TH (9/12) DOWNTOWN TOUR
We went to the downtown with Tarun. He guided us around the downtown. There were many stores that I had never seen and ben before such as wedding dress store, bra store like that hahaha. In downtown, Tarun bought us an ice cream. I had “salted caramel.” The total cost was over $70 I think. So, I thought that “he has lots of money…….” at the moment. After that we went to the Riverside Park. it was very windy, but super fun time. Thank you Tarun, Nice to meet you<3
SEPTEMBER 15TH (9/15) PANCAKE BREAKFAST
we had a “pancake breakfast.” on that day. it is not good for me to say that I thought pancake will small , not big size because it is free breakfast. but once I got it, I was surprized and excited because it was big and some fruits came with. Taste was also very good. From this day, my favorite food became “pancake.”
SEPTEMBER 17TH (9/17) ABERDEEN MALL
it was the first time of hanging out with KSU friends at Aberdeen Mall. We looked some winter clothes and some daily necessities. Even on this day, I was looking for souvenir for my family and friends.Also, on this day, I got third of my pierced. I was so excited ever. let’s hang out again everyone🔆 (sorry, this pic doesn’t relate at all)
SEPTEMBER 20TH (9/20) GOLD PANNING
We went to “gold panning” in Tranquille River.
This experience was my first of its kind, and I had a truly valuable time. The rivers and mountains were incredibly beautiful, and my heart also became very clear. Being able to feel nature so close was refreshing.
I could walk on mountain paths that I wouldn’t usually walk in Japan. It felt really good.
SEPTEMBER 28TH (9/28) ROCK CLIMBING
On this day, we went to the “indoor rock climbing.” it was the my first time to do that. But it was very interesting. There were various difficulty levels, and I stayed in the easy areas all the time. However, since my nails were long, even the easy course was quite challenging. But it became a good memory. This day’s MVP is Miyuu> GG
SEPTEMBER 30TH 〜 OCTOBER 2ND (9/30 〜 10/2) VANCOUVER TRIP
DAY 1
I went to the “Granville Island ” with my Korean friend. Me and she, it is been a long time since I left Canada 4 years ago. In this island and Vancouver, there were lots of Japanese. So, I heard many Japanese!!! The view was very beautiful. I don’t think I can see this view in Kamloops. At night, we went to “KEG.” we tried steak, it was really great that I have never tried before😂 After that we and two boys went to Korean restaurant> I hope that we can meet again if we can. ilysm ヨンジン👯♀️
OCTOBER 1ST (10/1)
DAY 2
I went to the “Granville Island” again with my KSU friends. we tried popular clam chowder. it was very good. ALSO we tried beer. There was many kinds of beer from sweet to bitter. This kind of beer was first time for me. I want to try again🧖🏻♀️After the island, we went to shopping mall. it was very big and there were more stores than I expected. Nanami bought her memorable jacket in the mall. I also was very excited to see that. 😂After this funny event, we went to the “Gas Town.” it is said that this place is dangerous. I think it was true, but I could buy many souvenir for my Japanese family and friends💝
OCTOBER 2ND (10/2)
LAST DAY
This day is just go back day to Kamloops. In the morning, we went to Acai shops. It was the first time to try it. However it didn’t match my taste……. But I like bottom yogurt though❣️Travel to Vancouver was really fun but maybe it is my first and last time to Vancouver💮
OCTOBER 6TH (10/6) OUR (terrible) DRAWINGS
This is not special day, just our normal day in TRU. 😙

OCTOBER 7TH (10/7) MY FIRST COOKING
This day, me and my host mother made a cake for the Thanks Giving Day party. I almost did job like mixed the ingredients, except baking. Maybe I did all correct way. BUT after baking, it was really bad looking. Taste was very good.🤪 we laughed a lot. I don’t to want to make a cake again😂Thank you for helping me a lot Irene<3
OCTOBER 8TH (10/8) THANKS GIVING DAY & HOST MOTHER’S BIRTHDAY
This day was one of exciting day during Canada. It was “Thanks Giving Day.” I went to host father’s mom’s house. There were a lot of people that a I’ve never met. I felt nervous but everyone was nice to me. So, I had a good time. The most exciting point was “Turkey.” I had never tried big turkey. I’ve just saw it at COSTCO in Japan.😂 I thought it is difficult to cut…But it was a good time to feel Canadian tradition. ALSO host mom re-makes a cake after I made terrible one😘 HAPPY BIRTHDAY IRENE💝
OCTOBER 9TH (10/9) KENNA CARTWRIGHT NATURE PARK
One month has passed since we came here☮️
This day was hiking day with Natsumi and 2 boys. We went to the “Kenna Cartwright Nature Park.” We met at the SuperStore at first, and bought some fruits and snacks to eat on the top of the mountain. It was like a trail, So we walked walked and walked till reach the top. While walking, there were a lot of people walking with their dogs. They were sooooo cute🤎We were not sure where the top is. But from the top, view was very nice. We had lots oof sweat, but we felt like a sense of accomplishment‼️Having fruits and some snacks were very delicious after walking lot. It was nice experience and memorable. また行こうね🖤
OCTOBER 14TH (10/14) WATERFALL WATCHING
We went to three waterfalls. (I forgot the name💢) Three of them was very very beautiful. I felt the “negative ion.” ALSO the sound of waterfall was loud, but cool💠 I was happy to feel nature in Canada. If I have a chance to go to Toronto, I would like to go to the Niagara Fall someday. Thank you for this day and Thank you Tarunnnnn💯
OCTOBER 17TH (10/17) MISAKO’S BIRTHDAY PARTY
This day is not her birthday yet, but we had a small birthday party in the class🥳💙We felt happy and smiled a lot> I’m also happy to celebrate her birthday. Also, we had a cake, the happiness of being able to have cake even though it is just a normal day. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISAKO(様) I’M GLAD TO MEET YOU🧡
OCTOBER 21ST (10/21) O’KEEFE RANCH
We wen to “O’keefe Ranch” with Tarun. There were sheets and goats. They were so cute, I wanted to take them to home. But they were stinky though……There was a maze which was made by corn🌽 It was fun, but night time is better😂 We also took a small truck to Ranch’s tour. Nice woman guided us around the ranch, it was fun too. I want to go there if the weather is good.
OCTOBER 31ST (10/30) HALLOWEEN PARTY
Trick or Treat🎃🎃 The time is Halloween. Everyone costumed that was very cute<3 I was a “ring” from horror movie. Also, we carved the pumpkins. Mine was decayed, So, it was hard for me to carve💡💡I was happy tp take pic with my friends. Happy Halloween !! I hope that I can have snacks next year🎀
NOVEMBER 4TH (11/4) HOCKEY GAME
We watched the hockey game this day.🏑 It was the first time to watch the game. I was really excited!!!! We said “Let’s go Blazers” to cheer up. Having popcorn is very good to watch the game I think. The Blazers WON🎉 It was a great memory ever.
NOVEMBER 7TH (11/7) DREAM CATCHERS
This day is one of exciting day for me. It was “Dream Catchers Day.” It is a traditional thing in indigenous people in Canada. It was kinda difficult for me to make it, but once I finished, I was really satisfied with my Dream Catcher. I think that it will be my treasure🎁
NOVEMBER 11 〜 13 (11/11 〜 13) BANFF TRIP
We went to BANFF on three days off. We decided to go to Banff about a week ago. Since We are in Canada, I thought it would be a great opportunity to see beautiful scenery, and that’s how the trip to Banff was planned. We went to Banff by bus. It took more time compared to going to Vancouver. It took about 7 to 8 hours.💠On the first day, the bus was delayed due to snow, and when we arrived in Banff, there were no more shuttle buses, leaving us in a predicament. So, we called Tarun. He said, “I’ve arranged a taxi for you guys,” Thank you very much indeed.😭💚 I will omit some…
We went to the “Lake Louise.” I have no words to describe how the view beautiful was. I could say just すごい！！！！ at the moment. My heart became very clear💠
Also, we went to “Open Top.” It is like a touring the town of Banff by small bus. It was also really good. Every scenery matched with snow. ☃️
at a dinner, we went to “Maple Leaf” to have Alberta Beef.🥩 The meat was, of course, incredibly delicious, but even more so, the potatoes that came with it were very tasty.🥔
summarized it briefly, but this trip is absolutely valued ever, and it was soooooooo much fun. Thanks my lovely friends. めっちゃありがとう❗️🥰
NOVEMBER 18TH (11/18) KELOWNA
We went to “Kelowna.” In there, went to “Wine Tour,” “Lake,” and “Mall.” Wine tour was the most exciting activity. It was a good opportunity to know how to make a wine. Having wine was very fun. I like “ice wine.” 🍷 After that, we went to downtown to have lunch. Me and Tarun went to “Sunny’s” to have lunch. I had salad bowl. It was yummy😋 We also went to Lake, I forgot the name…..
After, we went to the mall, it was bigger than Aberdeen Mall. I bought shoes👞It was a good shopping day. The bus on the way back, everyone was sleeping💤🌝 Thank you for everyone and Tarun.
NOVEMBER 22ND (11/22) CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING
We had a wonderful experience in TRU. We saw a Christmas Tree Lighting🎄💡 Before lighting, I wrote a letter to my mom and dad, I asked the guy who was running this section that “How long does it take to deliver to Japan?” and he said “ummmmmm it takes about three months.”😂 That was very interesting.
At the night, tree was lighting. It was very beautiful. Outside was cold🥶🍃But, I could feel Christmas.
NOVEMBER 24TH (11/24) ICE HOCKEY (again)
Masui, Ayari, Miyuu, and me went to the “ICE HOCKEY” and “PETER’S POSTA.” I really like pasta. So it was very delicious🍝🍝 I was so moved also, salad was vey good. This salad was the definitely best ever. After that, we went to the ice hockey🏑 This game was kinda rough game, but it was fun to watch. BLAZERS WON !!!!🏆 Thank you for today💚また行きましょうね
NOVEMBER 25TH (11/25) BLACK FRIDAY (SATURDAY) & CORA
Misako, Natsumi, Ryuto, and me went to “Mall” and “CORA.” In the morningI went to Cora and had pancakes. It was my first time having pancakes that were this delicious. I had strawberry and banana pancakes, and they were very sweet. After that, I went to the mall and bought clothes and souvenirs. Following the mall, I went downtown and also bought clothes there. I was filled with happiness. Thank you, everyone, for today. Let’s go again sometime.🍓🍌
NOVEMBER 26TH (11/26) SANTA PARADE
This day was “Santa Parade.” 🎅 I costumed “Christmas Tree” 🎄⭐️
The parade was very cold, but thanks to the costumes, it felt a bit warmer. Some people were dressed as trees, and it was very cute. Although the parade started at 4 o’clock, the assembly was at 2 o’clock, and it was very cold.
Once it actually started, there were many little kids on the road, which was heartwarming. I felt like I was the protagonist and was excited. Despite the cold outside, being able to drink hot chocolate made me happy.
It became a good memory. Merry Christmas！！！💝🎄
DECEMBER 2ND (12/2) CHRISTMAS PARTY LEAP
This day was a “Christmas party” at TRU. I went there with Natsumi, Misako(様), and two boys.👧🏻👦🏻ALSO, there was Tarun as well> I made an ornament, decorated a ginger bread cookie, wrote a letter for my family. It was really fun. We took lots of pictures and talk a lot with Japanese friends or other countries people. I felt like it is a “cultural exchange.” Talking is very good time.🗣 I wish I could have like this time again<3
